The intent of this upgrade was to provide better shelter for patrons entering and leaving the club in inclement weather, provide better visual presentation of the main club entrance as well as providing better separation between pedestrians and traffic at the entrance.
The roadway immediately in front of the entry was modified and upgraded to provide a better turning circle for buses and other vehicles dropping and picking up passengers at the entry as well as more shelter for this activity with a kerb free crossover from the vehicle driveway to the pedestrian pathway to improve accessibility at the club entry.
A water feature was installed to further compliment the entry into the club. The scope included:
CLIENT: Muswellbrook Shire Council
Scape was engaged by Muswellbrook Shire Council to construct a bespoke, innovative, imaginative, experience for children of all ages. A custom made 10m tall and about 70m long Lizard features as the centrepiece for the play experience. Other experiences in the playground include a large low flying fox, merry go-round, large undercover picnic facilities and extensive landscaping creating nodes for small group picnics.

These roadworks were constructed as part of a DA condition for an adjacent development which incorporated service relocation, road resurfacing, pathways and landscape works.
CLIENT: Gosford City Council
Scape Constructions was contracted to carry out the construction of a café and amenities building and construction of a community playground and parklands. The community building and café is a unique design incorporating, off-form concrete, steel and natural finished hardwood. The community playground and parklands incorporate junior playgrounds, common playgrounds, picnic areas, stage facility, bike tracks, fitness equipment and a large variety of play equipment. Initiatives such as using bore water for irrigation, improvement of existing soils for gardens and recycling of onsite storm water added to a smart design.
This project is one of the largest outdoor recreational developments undertaken by Gosford Council and is a highly used and important parkland to the area.

CLIENT: University of Newcastle
Scape was engaged by the University of Newcastle to construct the Auchmuty Outdoor Learning Lounge which is adjacent to the universities Auchmuty Library. The objectives of this project were to refresh and reconfigure the existing outdoor spaces adjacent to the Auchmuty Library through the provision of active informal outdoor learning spaces, incidental-meeting spaces, and accessible routes to existing buildings and better legibility to the Shortland Precinct pedestrian spine.

This project incorporates a broad range of works that Scape Constructions specialise in. This facility is a large scale project incorporating sports fields, playground, multipurpose courts, cricket pitch and practice area, recreational space, bike tracks, car parking and community buildings. CLIENT: Gosford City Council
Scape was engaged by Gosford City Council for the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning of two stormwater storage and treatment facilities as well as reticulation located at Hylton Moore Park East Gosford and Terrigal CBD. Both plants include the diversion of water from existing culverts, storage in underground storage tanks, treatment, and reticulation.
The filtration is a multi barrier filtration system consisting of several stages of filtrations ranging from gross pollutant removal, pre filtering, removal of oils and greases, coagulant dosing / injection, media filtration, carbon filtering, UV filtration, chlorine dosing, PH monitoring. The water is used to irrigate Hylton Moore Park, Terry Oval, Terrigal Bowling Greens, The Haven Oval and to provide non-potable water for the Crowne Plaza at Terrigal for toilet flushing, commercial laundry use and makeup water for cooling towers. The scope included:
CLIENT: Retire Australia
Retire Australia engaged Scape to design and construct landscaping around stormwater catchment ponds and dam which could also incorporate recreational features for future and existing residents. The works were part of a brief associated with a new housing stage and community centre for the village. The aim was to make the dam landscape a focal point of the village and turn the water catchment into an aesthetically pleasing selling point. Scape Constructions also executed all roads, infrastructure, water features, paving, pathways, retaining walls and dwelling landscaping for enhanced outdoor living.

This project is primarily a civic foreshore parkland and beach whereby our job site encompassed over 1km of foreshore area. The project had a wide range of structural components that were challenged by the fact that we were constructing in tidal zones or within water charged ground.
