Kibble Park

CLIENT: Gosford City Council

As part of the Kibble Park upgrade, Scape was contracted to carry out the upgrade to the existing café building and landscape the entire park. New rendered paint finish to external walls, decking, sails, enclosures and landscaping transferred this old building into modern café which compliments the newly landscaped surrounds. The landscape features provide covered seating, new play area, a rock lined shallow stream and shady open space areas.  The works included:

• Demolition of existing road
• Construction of playground with rubber softfall
• Large shade sails covering playground, stage and footpath
• Irrigation to planted areas around playground
• Furniture around park installed
• Timber stage constructed on raised blockwork in park
• Pouring of decorative concrete & honing the surface with paving bands to perimeter
• Planting of mature trees to pathways
• Installing a 100,000ltr tank to feed irrigation & creek water
• Shaping and install of pebble lined creek and pond
• Reticulation of pipe works for pumps
• Tank and pump installation
• Installation of 2 x bridges over the creek
