CLIENT: Cessnock City Council
This project includes the development of a concept plan, detailed design and construction drawings and construction of the play equipment and associated infrastructure. The park is the first passive recreation area leading in to the main township of Cessnock from the east with a war memorial located in a prominent position within the reserve. The play equipment/park infrastructure has been designed to be sensitive to the war memorial with a theme that connects the memorial to the wider reserve.

This contract comprises the construction of a raised walkway structure to provide access to Forresters Beach off 100 Kalakau Ave. Access to the northern end of Forresters Beach is currently afforded by a steep vehicle only path that is closed to the public. The loose footing and gradient poses a risk to pedestrians. Currently a steep, rocky vehicle access is present at the northern end of Forresters beach. The new access will move pedestrians off of the dangerous vehicle access and onto a constructed walking track. This project is also expected to bring more popularity to Forresters Beach.

Scape has commenced restoration works at Elfin Hill Road Reserve. The reserve is utilised for passive recreation and dinghy launching, primarily by residents. The foreshore along the reserve is experiencing significant erosion and therefore requires stabilisation for recreational activities to continue; and protection of residence adjoining the reserve, as well as protecting public and private infrastructure, including a sewer rising main located in close proximity to the active foreshore erosion.

Scape Constructions has been engaged to upgrade approximately 300m of Kathleen Street, Woy Woy, heading east from the intersection with Ocean Beach Road. The works include construction of roadworks, stormwater drainage, sewer rising main replacement, kerb and gutter, footpath and vehicular accesses.

Scape Constructions has commenced work on the upgrade of the existing playground at Bernie Goodwin Memorial Park, Morisset for children of all abilities from ages 2 to 12. The works include the construction and installation of new play equipment, exercise equipment, shared pathway, new seating, picnic facilities and native landscaping.
CLIENT: Frasers Property Australia
Scape Constructions commenced work on the Shell Cove Development as a subcontractor to Frasers Property in February 2017. The principle required a contractor who could take on the civil and landscape packages to reduce multiple contractors and streamline the development contracts administration.
This large scale project is estimated to take another 5 years to complete the township consisting of extensive residential dwellings, a retail precinct, parklands and a state of the art marina.

Avoca Beach foreshore is one of the Central Coast’s most popular tourist destinations and is also highly utilised by the local community year round. The works were undertaken as a result of the desire from the Avoca community to improve the infrastructure and amenity of the area as well as to carry out important coastal protection and rehabilitation works to stabilise the foreshore.

This project incorporated our civil / excavation and landscaping works with the excavation for a 6 story building and underground car parking. Also, we carried out roadway and car parking. The final part of the project was to construct a parkland area with flowing creek.

The seawall at Woy Woy required remediation of the existing masonry wall along Woy Woy Memorial Park. Scape was contracted to perform the construction of a rock armour layer and new seawall incorporating a precast concrete slab walling and boardwalk. The works included:
