Hamlyn Terrace Community Centre & Sporting Facility

CLIENT: Wyong Shire Council

This project incorporates a broad range of works that Scape Constructions specialise in. This facility is a large scale project incorporating sports fields, playground, multipurpose courts, cricket pitch and practice area, recreational space, bike tracks, car parking and community buildings. The scope includes:

• Installation of 90 nesting boxes in adjacent vacant properties and fauna relocation
• Bulk excavation of approx. 18000m³ cut to fill
• Installation of subsoil & irrigation to sports field
• Importing of approx. 9500 ton of sand for sports field
• Laying of 21000m² washed couch turf
• Construction of 2 buildings – one community centre and one amenities building
• Construction on multipurpose courts from concrete
• Installation of 6 lights, 2 x 15m for multipurpose plus 4 x 33m for sports field
• Car parking for 118 vehicles
• Installation of play equipment, exercise equipment & shade shelters over seating and bbqs
• Shared pathway around whole site in concrete
